"Really handy when I need images in a hurry"
I usually end up using Shutterstock when I need an image quickly, which somehow always happens right when I’m already juggling five other things. The search works really well for me. I can type in normal, everyday wording instead of trying to guess some perfect keyword, and it still pulls up stuff that’s actually close to what I had in mind. The filters are helpful too, especially when I need a certain style or the right orientation. It just saves me a lot of time compared to some other sites I’ve tried

"Great quality, but still a bit disappointed"
I downloaded a few clips for a work project, the quality was super sharp. There wasn’t any weird grain or blurry footage, which I really appreciated. That said, I was a little disappointed overall because I expected the experience to feel smoother for what I needed.

I’ve been using Shutterstock for work stuff and it’s simple to get around. The search is solid, and the filters help a lot when I need a specific photo size or a certain style real quick. Downloading is easy too, no weird confusing steps or anything. Sometimes there’s just soooo much to scroll through, which can get a little annoying, but overall the site feels clean, fast enough, and does what I need it to do.

"Credits were fixed, but still a bit disappointing"
I had an issue with my credits expiring, which was frustrating. To be fair, they did get it sorted out quickly, but I was still disappointed that I had to deal with it in the first place.

"Billing was clearer than I expected"
I’ll admit, I was kind of expecting some random fee to show up, but the billing ended up being straightforward. Nothing really caught me off guard, which was a nice surprise.

I’ve had a hard time finding fresh-looking images for newer projects. A lot of the options feel dated, so I end up scrolling forever without finding anything that fits. On top of that, the reminders are really aggressive. I get that they want you to come back or finish things, but it starts to feel pushy after a while

"Easy downloads, no hassle"
I needed a few images for a small project, i just got a good feeling about using it. My instinct was right, the downloads were quick, the files looked great, and I didn’t have to fuss with anything. Super easy overall, and I didn’t run into any problems.

I used Shutterstock mostly on my phone, and it was smooth pretty much the whole time. The search was quick, the filters were simple enough to use on a small screen, and everything just worked the way these sites should always work. Downloading images was easy too, with no weird issues or extra hassle. I could preview stuff, save what I needed, and didn’t even have to pull out my laptop. It only took a few minutes to find the right images, so overall it was simple, stress-free, and basically exactly what you hope for. 5 stars from me.

"Refund was easy, but I felt a bit misled"
I ended up having to cancel and thought the refund was going to be a headache. It did go through without too much hassle, and support handled it smoothly after I reached out. That said, I felt a little misled at first because the way things were presented made it seem more straightforward than it actually was. I had to wait a bit and ask for clarification, but in the end it got sorted. Not a terrible experience, just not as clear as I expected.

"Good overall, but the account section could be clearer"
My account works fine for the most part, but trying to manage billing and plan details was more confusing than it needed to be. I had to click around quite a bit just to find basic info, which feels preventable with a cleaner layout. Support did eventually help me out, but it wasn’t exactly quick. Overall, it’s not a bad experience, I just think the account area could be a lot more straightforward.

The Enterprise plan definitely isn’t cheap, and from the tone of our budget chat, I could tell a few people were skeptical at first. But the shared access and download options have made it worth it for us. It’s just made things easier for the whole team.

I was kind of expecting the cancellation to be a hassle, or maybe I’d missed some hidden step, but it was actually really quick. I canceled my plan without any weird extra hoops, and the confirmation came through right away. So yeah, seems like everything is all set

It just took longer than I thought it would. I waited a couple of days and had to send a follow-up before I got a clear answer. I used it for a small video project, and I was impressed with the music quality. Not every track was exactly my style, but there were plenty that sounded clean, polished, and professional. It definitely gave my video a more finished feel, and I’d feel confident using it again for future projects...

I’ve used Shutterstock a few times now, the image quality has been really good. Most of the photos I’ve downloaded come out sharp and clean, even when I need larger sizes. I keep wondering if I’m just getting lucky with the images I pick, but so far it’s been easy to find decent ones. No real complaints from me at this point.

"AI images turned out way better than I expected"
I’ve used Shutterstock in the past mostly for regular stock photos, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect from the AI image side. But lately I’ve been trying it out more, and the results have been really good. A few images still need small tweaks here and there, but most of them come out clean, polished, and usable right away.
